In 1965, Aerocom took part in an exhibition to introduce Rubberised Coir Mattresses, Mats, Cushions in the Calcutta Market. Before then customers were only aware of Cotton and Rubberfoam mattresses. In 1990 another unit for Rubberised Coir fibre was put up in Nagpur, Maharashtra. Being centrally located it was logistically viable. Being technically exposed to import substitute products this time all the plant and machinery at Nagpur was made in-house (MADE IN INDIA).In 2014 an engineering unit was introduced which caters to the needs of the automobile and defense industry. In 2016 Aerocom expanded its product portfolio to venture into the production of Polyurethane Foam and Rebonded Foam.
